Photos Tell the Story

Send up to 5 photos of the dents to show where they are on the car and how big they are. Accepted file types are .png , .jpg and jpeg. Click here for more tips on taking photos of your dents.

If you are uploading photos from your iphone or Android, the photos need to be in png, jpeg or jpg format. Often phone cameras save photos in HEIF and HEIC formats. Instructions for changing the format of your camera’s photos are here:

For iPhone photos –

  1. Go to iPhone Settings > Camera.
  2. Tap Formats.
  3. Tap Most Compatible. This setting is available only on devices that can capture media in HEIF or HEVC format, and only when using iOS 11 or later.
  4. All new photos and videos will now use JPEG or H. 264 format.

For Android photos

  1. Go to your camera application
  2. Choose Photo
  3. Tap Settings – small wheel in upper left corner
  4. Tap the Picture Formats
  5. Unclick the HEIC format choice
